In
the World… BUT not Of the World!
The challenge of the
church is to maintain influence… while at the same time remaining
separate unto God.
The quest to be relevant…
at the same time not compromised… how to be Salt and Light…
influence / yet dedicated to God.
Fitting in enough to have
authority… separated enough to have influence!
To err on either extreme
is wrong… but being human we are going to err… therefore our
challenge is consistently and daily seek balance in our lives.
For many the separation is
just an effort to be different… and as culture changes try and hold to an
older culture and call that holy!
Many end up in isolation
and find themselves separated… but not necessarily unto the Lord!
Many make such an effort
to fit in… that they loose their witness.
For all we must remember
it is not outward… but inward that truly matters.
WE MUST CONSISTENTLY SEEK
THE MEANS OF INFLUENCING AND RULING IN OUR PRESENT WORLD WHILE AT THE SAME TIME
REMAINING SEPERATED UNTO THE LORD AND HIS PURPOSES!
