It is very
important to understand that how we view the world around us has everything to
do with what we see. As we put this lesson in the context of our past several
lessons on sowing and reaping… it is vital for us to understand our
view of the world… shapes and creates our world! This lesson
doesn’t just deal with what we are looking at as much as how
we are looking at it!
Many people
would argue… you can’t change reality… I ask what in fact
reality is. Is reality what you are seeing are how you are seeing it.
Can reality be different to different people… can two people look at the
same set of circumstances and see something totally different? I believe so…
This means we
create our reality… by how we are looking at things rather than what we
are looking at. The fact is our reality is not determined by our circumstances,
rather our reality is determined by our OUTLOOK on our circumstances. Our
actions, emotions and thought processes are born from our view of the world and
affect our actions… as we act out of… and under the power of these
feelings we actually attract these things into our lives. When our
OUTLOOK or view of the world becomes so tainted we can’t seem to bring
ourselves to do the right thing anymore. This marks the beginning of the end of
our lives being healthy and whole.
For today’s
prayer can we ask the Lord to change our OUTLOOK on our lives!
