Title -Belief and
Faith!
This
is a continuation of last week’s message… and focuses on specifically belief in
Christ being the key that activates faith in
God!
I believe there is a stark difference between belief in God and belief in
Christ. As we have stated most people believe in the existence of a higher
power or a God… Even the demons believe in God. Belief in God becomes
Faith when a person acknowledges and accepts any movement by God toward that
particular person. This faith becomes the basis on or by which we live everyday
and walk out our lives. When we hear the news, information or Word about what
God’s intentions and desires are toward us, we must begin to live, walk and
consider ourselves as recipients of those intentions and desires. But the reason
belief in Christ accomplishes so much in our lives is because we are not only
believing in a God but we are believing what we are told God’s intentions are
toward us in Christ! This persuasion causes us to walk a different way and is
Genuine Faith! Belief in the message of Christ is central to faith in God and
that is why we must consistently preach Him.
