As we look at this lesson we must consider the context of the lessons so far this year. We are talking about prospering and being in health as our soul prospers. To prosper we must be conscience of the need to move forward. In order to move forward we must let go of things in our past and leave things in our present. We have looked at the original covenant with Abraham which required leaving country, family and fathers house in order to go to the place God would reveal.

We have looked at various aspect of this topic of prospering in our lives and last week we looked at letting go of the expectations of others specifically for the purpose of developing our individuality. Today I want to talk specifically about developing our individuality. I am of the opinion that within each of us there are qualities and characteristics which can be either a detriment or our greatest asset to our success. The question is whether or not we are submitting ourselves to God.

For this lesson today I am asking that you look deep in the mirror of who you are and allow everyone and everything else to go dim around you. For today I want to challenge you to begin self examine and determine are you going to move forward or are you just going to hang out. We can hang out by continuing to “JUST BE WHO WE ARE” or we can move forward by submitting “who we are” to Jesus and watching Him turn our liabilities into assets.
