For the purpose of this weeks lesson I want to focus our attention on how through Christ we are taken from the outside and brought into relationship with God. We have been talking this year about progressing in our lives as we progress in our faith. It is of the utmost importance we realize our position as insiders with and through Christ if we are to maximize our position as children of God.

                 As we consider this lesson most people have two perspectives when it pertains to groups, clubs, or fraternities they are involved with or desire to be involved with through out their lives. These two positions are either one of looking at others as outsiders or looking at themselves as outsiders. Today I want to address these feelings and show the answer to both positions to be Christ.

                In Christ, we who where aliens and outsiders from the things of God are brought near and given equal status with those who have held position in God’s family.  In Christ, we who hold position in God’s family and look at others as outsiders must acknowledge their right to status as brothers and sisters in Christ.
