TKAC Day School Enrollment Form
The mission of The Kids At Covington Day School is to partner with parents to encourage and inspire a love for learning and a heart for service in students by providing a biblically Christian environment that fosters academic excellence.
The purposes of the The Kids At Covington Day School are to:
• Encourage our students to grow in the knowledge of God through Jesus Christ and to live as contributors to the Kingdom of God and our country.
• Educate children in a dynamic Christian environment that follows a Biblical perspective.
• Establish and maintain a rich, traditional, quality course of study that exceeds the educational objectives set forth in the public sector.
The Kids At Covington Day School provides a quality classic education in a dynamic Christian environment. We believe that our role as a school is to partner with the family and church to help in the education of the whole child, socially, physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. We desire to encourage and inspire our students for lives of purpose, service, and leadership by establishing strong spiritual and academic roots.
As a Christian school, we provide a safe, loving environment, serving as an extension of the educational training in the home and the church.
Our program is based on the following truths:
§ God has created each child uniquely in His image and has given that child special talents which should be developed and enhanced in a manner that glorifies God.
§ We value Christian character development as revealed in the Bible. Every class follows a Bible curriculum chosen to help the child identify Christ-like characteristics that enhance quality of life. Such characteristics include reverence of God, love for neighbors, kindness, obedience, patience, and honesty. Each child is encouraged to place his/her faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life. (John 3:36, Romans 10:9&10).
§ Instructional placement should be determined primarily by a child’s developmental level.
§ A well-structured learning environment is essential to developing good academic skills and helping children to feel secure and free to enjoy their school experiences.
§ Children will develop self-discipline and confidence in their own abilities as they are nurtured.
