First of all, thanks for taking the time to check out The Church At Covington's new website. The Church family and I would like to welcome you, and invite you to experience the most exciting opportunity extended to man today - The Joy of knowing Jesus Christ! It is our desire to create a place for worship with an atmosphere where you can begin and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is with great joy that we open our hearts and the fellowship of our Church to present Jesus Christ to the people of this area. We have been in Newton County since 1931, and God has blessed our ministry. In 1990, we relocated our church from the town of Porterdale to our current location in Covington.
We hope that you will take the time to explore our website as well as The Church At Covington. You're just one step away from exploring the many ministries and ministry opportunities that we have designed with you in mind. Upon your first visit with us on our church campus, please stop by our Information Center and pick up a token of our appreciation for being our guest at TCAC.
We hope that your experience with The Church at Covington enriches your life and strengthens your relationship with God. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share with you what God is doing. If you have further questions or wish to become involved, please dont hesitate to call us at 770.786.7293.
We're making a difference in our world through Jesus Christ. We would love to have you become a part of the journey!
Below is a list the core doctrinal beliefs of TCAC:
1The Bible is the written, infallible, authoritative and inspired Word of God.
2There is One true God who revealed Himself as Father in Creation, through His Son in redemption, and as Holy Spirit through empowerment.
3Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and the shed blood on the cross of Calvary.
4Pardon and forgiveness of sins are obtained by genuine repentance - a confession and forsaking of sins.
5In obedience to the Word of God we baptize by immersion in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
6The Holy Spirit, which is available to the believer today, is a gift of God to empower us to be a witness and to live an overcoming life.
7The Gifts of the Spirit are in operation in the Church today.
8Jesus Christ is preparing a church as a bride adorned for her husband and is coming back for His bride, to reign eternally with Him.

Raise the roof for our youth!
The Church At Covington is hosting its First Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, October 18th at Indian Creek Golf Club in Covington, Georgia. This tournament will raise funds towards the completion of the the youth facility at The Church At Covington benefiting the Infusion Youth Ministry and the youth of our community.
Once the facility is complete, it will provide an environment where the youth of our community and surrounding counties can come to learn life skills, such as balancing a check book and how to write a resume, a place for them to worship, and the opportunity to embark on relationships that last a lifetime.
Event sponsorships are available. If you would like more information, an entry form, or to be a sponsor, please contact John Smith at 770-786-7293, 678-491-6003, or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
