Biblical Counseling
More than 15 million Americans each week are involved in critical life issues such as divorce, chemical dependency, codependency, abuse, eating disorders, low self-esteem, and dysfunctional-family matters and these figures are escalating at phenomenal rates. This course is designed to equip you to bring Bible based healing and recovery to a hurting individual’s life.
Church History
It gives us perspective, shows God working in the world, gives wisdom, and it implants hope deep within us. Church history is an exciting story about ordinary people that God has used in extraordinary ways with a glimpse of 2,000 years of God’s work.
Evangelism, Discipleship & Hermeneutics
Have you ever thought of what God could do through you to influence a generation? Jesus Christ called His disciples to gain a vision that would impact the world for His name. Leading people into the eternal Kingdom of God Almighty - you can never have a more fulfilling life. This life is your only chance, the possibilities are endless.
Facets of Faith and Facts of Prayer
You will learn to live by faith, become a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, to pray effectively as the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (or woman) who avails much and learn to teach others to do the same.
The Holy Spirit
(The Godhead...God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.) Here we learn about the sadly overlooked person of the Godhead, The Holy Spirit, the power that draws us to Jesus, the power that equips us to live life to the fullest, the power that sustains us through the everyday challenges of our lives.
Homiletics
(The art of preaching, teaching and public speaking.) Our words can cause people to do things they never thought possible. Not just what we say but how we express our ideas, what a vast responsibility! This class will help you to identify your style of speaking , whether it is teaching, preaching or speaking to the public, or all of the above, conveying the techniques of effective communication.
Jesus the Messiah
(A study of the life of Messiah from a Jewish perspective) This course leads us into a deeper knowledge of Jesus, the Messiah of whom the scriptures speak, and into a closer walk with Him whose love is revealed in all His words and works.
Leadership
A life changing experience that gives hope, direction, encouragement and specific procedures, providing a willing student with the tools necessary to fulfill their leadership role.
Old Testament Survey
As an artist surveys the landscape for a painting , those participating in this course will survey the Old Testament which literally is our ancestors. Students will have the opportunity to discover the basis of information for themselves rather than assuming the biblical writers point of view.
New Testament Survey
Students will be introduced to the books, divisions, chronology and personalities of the New Testament along with a basic understanding of the events and journeys of both Jesus and Paul.
Systematic Theology
This study answers questions such as, who is God, what does God want from us, what are we doing here? It is the quest for the ultimate truth about God, about ourselves, and about the world in which we live.
